How I started on bento-ing? Well, this is the story…

I was following some friends’ blogs, and there are some of them actually blogging about bento/kyaraben (charaben – character bento) they pack for their young children whom are picky eater.

There’s one day when I was reading those blogs, my 4 years old elder son (JY) got a glimpse on it and immediately he was attracted to those cute bento. So I was thinking maybe I should try my hand on it since JY show interest too (at least I have a target whom I can prepare bento for, especially kyaraben). While reading those bento blogs, I always feel like trying it myself because bento are just too cute, but I never put it into action. So probably now is the time.

So, gathering some information from internet and others blogs, I decided to start my ‘journey’ on kyraben/bento making. Hope it will be fruitful and fun!
