Today’s bento idea came from a picture of bento I saw online, a shark sandwich by Shoppingmum. JY loves shark a lot, so I decided to try to do this for his bento today.
First I cut 2 pieces of white bread into triangle shape with rounded end, then I cut the mouth of the shark at one of the bread. Apply kaya and stick the 2 bread together. I use dried blackcurrants as the eyes and stick them to the bread with a little bit of kaya too. Use the brown colour outer part of the white bread to cut the 3 lines as decoration. Then I put in some fish shape cheese biscuits as the background. So today is all about fish!

Later in the evening when JY came back from nursery, I asked him what is his bento today (as he didn’t see the bento in the morning, he board the school van still in sleeping mood), he told me is a volcano! Hahaha….my failed shark bento, which has turn into a volcano under JY’s great imagination!
