JY’s bento today – mini pretzel, rice cracker, honey star cereal, grapes and hawthorn. The jelly is a special request from JY. Cut out some seaweed to make the piggy face for the top piece of the rice cracker. Now I feel that I should have included the ears as well.

His bento box today is a new added to my bento collection, and he’s the one who spotted it while we were shopping in a supermarket during the weekend. He was so excited with the fact that the bento box has a moveable partition, and is a robot design!  So I bought it for him (another excuse for me to spend money yeah). It’s a BROS product and they have very eye catching pink ones too, but those are too girlish for JY. Probably will reserve that for my niece 

And last night before sleep, he has been requesting that I use this bento box to pack his snack to bring to nursery today. Seems like he started to show ‘participation’ in his bento box preparation!
