I bought a whole bunch of animal shape cookies cutters recently.
Well, not that I really wanted to buy that many at one go, but they come in a box of 50! Maybe in future my boy can expect lots of animal bento from mummy. LOL
Guess what, I’m glad to find a dinosaur shape cutter in the box! Dinosaur is one of my boy’s favourite, so I decided to make him a simple dinosaur bento with this cutter.
I cut the dinosaur from a slice of oat raisin bread and decorate the body and facial detail using seaweed. I cut the back detail from the crust of the bread.
Inside the bento, there is also a piece of potato wedges which is hiding below the dinosaur, cover by aluminum foil which I used to wrapped the potato wedges when I bake it in the oven.
I opt to bake the wedges in the oven instead of deep fried to avoid too oily food in the bento, though it taste not as good as deep fried.
Well, at least my boy didn’t complain about it when he ate his bento. And yes, he loves the dinosaur a lot!
