A while ago daddy bought JY a white board and he is so excited. He has wanted a white board just like what his teacher has in his nursery since long time ago. So almost everyday he’ll spend some time drawing and writing on that white board.
One day I found this picture on the white board as he didn’t clean it up after using it. Out of curiosity I asked JY to explain his drawing.
Well, there are many things there, a flower on the top left side, a house, some hills, football field at the middle right, and an excavator which is right in the middle drawn with black marker pen. Guess what, he told me that the long string of circles coming out from the exhaust pipe of the excavator is the black exhaust gas!
I really think that the environment pollution is getting worst nowadays that even such a young kid observes this! Is this a signal to all mankind that we should seriously look into this matter?! Maybe this is a good time for me to start teaching him on his responsibility to our mother earth!

Seeing the world from a child perspective is sometimes thought provoking, because he notices things that we have taken for granted and takes us back to basics.
Aileen – Yeah, I’m kind of shock when I listen to him talking about his drawing, that he observes so many things that we don’t notice!
