At last I managed to make my boy a spelling bento this week. Having done with ‘dog’, I kind of expected it that my boy is asking me about ‘cat’!
Yeah, today’s bento is all about ‘cat’.
I use the cookies cutter to cut the cat from the bread crust, and decorated the facial detail with seaweed. I punched the ears and mouth with the Carla Craft cat puncher, while the whiskers, the nose and the eyes are but free hand.
As usual, the alphabets are cut free hand too. Just wonder if JY knows how to read the word ‘cat’ top-down instead of horizontal! LOL
I use the cat food pick too for the prunes, and I included a strawberry in today’s bento as JY seems getting much better from his cough.

The cat looks amazing! I wouldn’t think to use bread crust. You are so great lah! So much inspirations
Lia Chen – Thank you so much! Your comment always keep me up!
What to do, my son don’t take cheese, so always has to think of alternative, and the bread crust is one that I can think of. But one problem, there are only 2 pieces of bread crust in a pack of bread! LOL
