JY has to rest at home until he is fully recovered from chicken pox before he can attend school again. Therefore supposedly I don’t have to make him any bento for this whole week.
Anyway, I decided to make him a spelling theme bento this morning, just to give him something cute (visually) to eat, rather than just plain bread with jam everyday.
There were so many foods that I was advised to take out from his diet until he recovers. And almost everyday he was having bread with jam, poor boy! He begged me to give him fried fish when my neighbour was frying one the other day and the aroma of the dish was all over the place in my house!
His bento today was still bread with jam, which I made into a book, with the spelling of ‘book’ on top. I cannot think of any other things to include in the bento because almost all usual food that I used for bento was prohibited, and therefore I just put the cute elephant food baran on top of his bread. 
Hope he enjoys his bento later, though it was still the same bread with jam (I cannot even give him his favourite butter) for almost 4 consecutive days!

Angeleyes – Yes, so pity. There are few cases in his kindy. On Friday when his teacher called me up said suspected CP, I went to pick him up, and there is another boy sitting there waiting for the parent too, also suspected CP. Oh well, maybe he took CP vaccination before so the outburst is still not so bad, and fever gone away after 2 days.
aiks…JY on CP?! erm..erm..have to really take good care of his food..:S hope he gets well soon..Don’t think he can take eggs right? else maybe you can make him some egg sandwich or something? instead of fried fish, maybe some steam fish?

Hey, great mind thinks alike yeah, I was planning to put JY’s name there initially, but I can’t find any smaller alphabet cutter, and I cannot use seaweed that I can cut free hand, so I gave up the idea!
This cute bento reminds me of the soft baby books. Fun way to learn spelling! Hope your boy has a quick recovery from CP. And hope will not spread to any family members that haven’t got CP before. Do you believe if I say that I never got CP until now? Strange, isn’t it?

So far both hubby and I had CP before so should be immune, I just hope he won’t pass it to my younger boy! Maybe you have strong immune system, good thing. LOL
FUH! i like this “great mind thinks alike yeah”..hahaha..poor thing him..then instead of fish, replace with some chicken then? steam one as well..hehe..
