Elmo Bento

I was so glad that my old trick worked out for the spelling theme bento yesterday, now my boy can spell ‘ship’ without leaving out the alphabet ‘h’!

same day payday loans

Initially I was planning to make another spelling bento for JY today as there was a whole list of words in his spelling test next week. But I woke up a bit late today due to some late night work last night, so I had to do with another speedy bento instead (it took me less than 15 minutes too).

I decided to make him an Elmo sandwich, but I think the colour did not justify that.

It was a strawberry jam and butter sandwich. I didn’t have any carrot on hand, if not I could have used that to make the nose at least.

Anyway, hope he has a great day and just in case this Elmo sandwich does not look like an Elmo to him, at least it is a happy face bento to brighten his day! :D

I think by next week, I shall start adding in some fruits in his bento, should be OK yeah after one whole week fully recovered from chicken pox. All right, it is time to start restocking my fridge again! :)

With those big eyes, it’s hard for not recognize it as an Elmo hehehe … I think your smart boy will figure it out. All your speedy bento are amazing :)

Lia Chen – Thanks for your supporting comment, glad that my boy really recognize it as an Elmo, that is the first thing I asked him when I fetch him home :D

  • rosebelle says:

Look, a big smile to greet your son when he eats his lunch! That should warm up any child.

    • KidsDreamWork says:

rosebelle – Yeah, he like to see smiling faces in his bento a lot. He always reminds me no sad face in the bento, because there was once I made him a teddy bear and the usual way I put the mouth of the bear seems to him like a sad face! :)

  • Angeleyes says:

I can make out that is Elmo so hope JY did too!

    • KidsDreamWork says:

Angeleyes – Oh yes, luckily he did! In fact he told me he ‘gave away’ Elmo’s eyes to his classmates because the girl requested for them! LOL
