Sealed Sandwich Speedy Bento

Just a reminder about the “Happy & Healthy” contest, there are 24 entries by now!

A big thank you to all whom has submitted their entry, and if you have more, don’t be shy to send them in as there are no limits to the number of entry. We still have 3 more days to go before the closing date!

So people, grab this chance to join the contest yeah. :D

All right, back to my boy’s bento today.

I haven’t got the chance to go for food replenish shopping so today there are nothing much food left for bento-ing. There were only few pieces of white bread left, and the 我来也 meat floss. Therefore I decided to make my boy another speedy bento – a sealed sandwich with a bread crust car on top.

I used the Tomica sandwich cutter to cut out the shape of the car and decorate it with seaweed and the white part of the bread for the windows and the wheels. I used strawberry jam for the lights of the car.

To make the bento look more colourful, I put a grass shape food baran below the car on top of the bread. That was all for the speedy bento today! :D

The two tiny trucks in the picture are two of my boys’ favourite toys. I took it for photography since today it was about vehicles. LOL

By the way, you can refer to the detail step-by-step of making sealed sandwich here.
