All right, back to my boy’s bento today.
I haven’t got the chance to go for food replenish shopping so today there are nothing much food left for bento-ing. There were only few pieces of white bread left, and the 我来也 meat floss. Therefore I decided to make my boy another speedy bento – a sealed sandwich with a bread crust car on top.
I used the Tomica sandwich cutter to cut out the shape of the car and decorate it with seaweed and the white part of the bread for the windows and the wheels. I used strawberry jam for the lights of the car.
To make the bento look more colourful, I put a grass shape food baran below the car on top of the bread. That was all for the speedy bento today!
The two tiny trucks in the picture are two of my boys’ favourite toys. I took it for photography since today it was about vehicles. LOL
By the way, you can refer to the detail step-by-step of making sealed sandwich here.

I wanna try make this seal sandwich… thanks for sharing!~
prince n princess mum – Glad that you like the idea
The sandwich looks very nicely sealed. It doesn’t look like it was made from two slices of bread. Even if you didn’t have enough time, the bento lunch still looks creative and nicely put together.
rosebelle – Thank you so much for your kind comments!
I love the simplicity of this bento – so cute! I’d forgotten about crusts – we don’t get them here in Germany!
