My boy has been asking me to make him the same bee that I made for the first bento in the Astro XTY 阳光列车 ever since he watched that show!
He actually sat in front of the TV for every single replay of the show and no body is allow to switch to other channel. This means he had watched the same thing for at least 4 times on that day itself! 
I am so touched that he is such a big supporter for his mummy. He kept asking me why I appeared in the idiot box! LOL
Since JY made the request again last night before he sleeps, I decided to make his ‘dream comes true’ today. LOL
Anyway, the bee I made today is slightly different from the one I made in the show (you can see the photo here in my previous post on the event).
I still used sausage for the body and the face, but I replaced the tentacles with food picks instead of spaghetti and corn as I don’t have corn at home today. I didn’t use cheese for the wing either, but replaced it with bread crust because I’m sure if I use cheese it will come back with the empty bento box later as my boy doesn’t really like cheese.
Besides the sausage bees, I included some sandwiches cut to flower shapes, half of a hard boiled egg, some carrots cut to sakura shapes and endamame in this bento.
Hope my boy will be happy enough to see the bee that he has long for in his bento today!
