I didn’t have much food left when I made this bento for my boy and so I decided to make him some mini sealed meat floss sandwiches, which can easily fill up the bento box.
I like to make sealed sandwiches if I were to use meat floss as the fillings because that would be so much less messy when my boy eats the sandwiches later in school.
I don’t have the pocket sandwich cutter, so I just make use of one of my small rectangle cookies cutters. You can see how I made them in my step-by-step post in “Step-By-Step” category.
I made a total of 6 mini sandwiches, but I only decorated the two in the front row since you can’t actually see those at the back. A lazy job I did. LOL
I decorated the first two sandwiches with seaweed as big smiling faces. I separated each row of the sandwiches with the grass shape food baran.
In the smaller compartment of the bento box, I included some dried prunes, two finger chocolate biscuits and some small mantou biscuits.
By the way, I really love those 3D lion food picks! They can easily make the bento look so much nicer. With or without the food picks make so much difference!
