I received the parcel of my latest bento gadgets purchase sometime last week and I was so excited!
Thanks to MM for doing me the favour by taking the trouble to purchase and send them to me all the way from Taiwan!
My elder boy too was so excited about the new bento gears that he wanted to use all of them for his bento at one go! I told him that was impossible, and finally he landed on the lovely “The Bear’s School” sandwich box and requested that this bento box to be used for his bento today.
I made him two rolls of Nutella hazelnut-cocoa spread bread wrapped in cling wrap and fastened with some golden coloured ribbon. The sandwich rolls fit just nicely into the bento box and occupied half of it. I cut off two flowers using the smaller daisy cutter from each of the bread before I rolled them up so that they won’t look too plain.
In the other half of the bento box, I put some cherries and grapes to complete the meal. I tied the same golden ribbons on each of the cherries, and I used the cute panda food picks for the grapes.
This was how it looked like when I closed the bento box, adorable isn’t it? Look at the pair of Teddy Bear spoon and fork laying beside the bento box in the photo, they were among the bento gears came with the parcel. My boy loves them so much!
