We bought some donuts for snack yesterday from a local bakery shop and the donuts taste really good especially with their soft texture. My boy loves it so much and so I saved one for his bento today.
The size of the donut is a bit smaller than the usual donut, which makes it just perfect for bento and for JY’s snack.
This was again another speedy bento. Besides the donut, I made a luncheon meat Teddy Bear and placed it on top of the donut.
All I did was pan-fried a small piece of luncheon meat, cut it with the cute teddy bear cutter as in the photo and decorated it with seaweed and cheese. I secured the teddy bear onto the donut with the heart shape food pick and gave the donut two bear foot prints cut from seaweed too with the paw shape Carla Craft puncher.
As usual, there were also cherries, prunes and two skewers of endamame in the bento box.
JY came home yesterday exclaiming how much he liked the ‘present’ bread roll I made him in his new sandwich bento box, so again I tied some ribbons on the cherries in his bento today. Hope he will be happy with that too!

cute bear bear, i like the lunch box!
may i ask how u cook the bean?
i feel so wasted water n gas to boil so little for the boy
june@june – That Tomica lunch box is one of my boy’s favourite, and mine too
The endamame that I bought, from the package there are 3 ways to cook it, either boil, microwave or just put under running water to defrost. So usually I’ll just microwave or put them in a bowl of hot water from the thermal pot and cover it for few minutes.
Ribbon-tied cherries are so cute! The bear looks just like the container!
Sheri – Oh yes, I was too lazy to think of what to do with the bear so I just follow the design on the cutter
Emily – Thank you!
