Pokémon: Pikachu Bento

Pikachu (ピカチュウ Pikachū) is one of the species of Pokémon creatures. As do all Pokémon, Pikachu fight other Pokémon in battles central to the anime, manga, and games of the series. Pikachu is among the most recognizable Pokémon, largely because a Pikachu is a central character in the Pokémon anime series. Within the world of the Pokémon franchise, Pikachu are often found in houses, forests, plains, and occasionally near mountains, islands, and electrical sources (such as power plants), on most continents throughout the fictional world. As an Electric-type Pokémon, Pikachu can store electricity in its cheeks and release it in lightning-based attacks.

All right, here is another Pokémon bento for my boy today. JY has been asking me for Pikachu bento since I made him the Pochama bento.

Still, I have not had the chance to go grocery shopping besides buying a loaf of butter bread from the bakery shop. Therefore I can only use whatever I have on hand, cheese, carrot and the remaining of the endamame! I think I have to squeeze out some time from my tight schedule today to grab some food from the hypermarket.

In JY’s bento today, I made him a butter and strawberry jam sandwich, and I made a Pikachu with cheese, seaweed and boiled carrot and laid it on top of the sandwich. I cut the Pikachu free hand with tooth pick from the cheese because only in the morning I realized that I had forgotten to make any printout so that I can trace it on the cheese. I hope the free hand cut Pikachu does not look too ugly.

I used the remaining boiled carrot to make a Pokémon ball too and secured it to the sandwich with tiny stripe of spaghetti. There are two skewers of endamame and drie prunes too in the bento.

Hope my boy will have a fun time with his Pikachu!
