Last night we bought the boys’ favourite donuts, so I postponed making my boy’s bento wish list for the week! Instead I made him a simple speedy donut bento.
I always pack one donut, unless they are the mini ones because it fills up my little guy fast. Otherwise, he would come home with the leftover.
I used a round bento box which fitted the donut just nice, and all I did was I layered some green lettuce leaves at the center of the donut and put a cherry with the leave food pick on top.
I cut two small round shape cheeses, decorated them with the cute little paws from seaweed and put the cheese on top of the donut.
That was all for JY’s bento today, simple and speedy. I will try to fulfill his wish list tomorrow. I hope he does not come home complaining about me skipping his request!
By the way, as you can see from the photo, I bought my boy a new bento gear, the fork from the Clapping March series which comes with a storage box. My boy loves it so much, especially it is his favourite colour – blue!

wow that’s a huge donut! I hope he doesn’t get too hyper after eating that. What a great idea to round off the chocolate donut with the cherry on top.
Mrs. P – I’m a bit surprise too that my boy managed to finish the whole donut and nothing came home with the bento box last night! Oh well, there is the seed of the cherry, haha…
