I was in a mad rush today getting my elder boy ready for school and my younger boy ready for doctor’s appointment, then dropped him off at the nanny’s and returned to my office.
Due to time constraint, I did not make any kyaraben bento today. But I was able to make a Nutella almond-cocoa spread sandwich which is on JY’s menu. I guess there will not be any complain from the boy today.
I cut a round shape sandwich and put a layered heart-shape cheese on top of the sandwich. I included some cherries and grapes in the bento too.
This was made in less than 15 minutes including peeling the grapes. Extremely speedy bento I should say.
Hope tomorrow I can make some nice kyaraben as it will be the last day of the week for me to pack JY’s snack bento and I shall end the week’s bento with something interesting.

bobo – Thank you! I hope I have time to make it tomorrow! Oh yes, finally after today’s treatment the pediatrician release him from the daily treatment.
Love the translucent grapes and the love theme!
Counting down to yr next post! Cheers/ Karen
It does looked speedy! Hehehe
When I am in a rush I’ll skip the bento…
So, JY is taking in more cheese now?
Can see you are using more cheese for his bento recently.
Angeleyes – If I skipped bento, I’m sure my boy will have something to say about it!
Oh yes, now he starts to ‘entertain’ me, well, not eating all but at least half of them usually, just like today’s. Yay!
simple and neat yet quite kawaii bento!!
babykins – Thank you and welcome to KidsDreamWork!
Gees, how come all of the rush bentos still look so good?!?! Nutella is awesome! I love making nutella/PB sandwiches because I know they’re better for you. I also use nutella to put in warm oatmeal so it has a chocolate-y flavor to it. Otherwise my little one won’t eat oatmeal.
Okay I have a question though, does cheese taste good with nutella? or do they eat them separately?
Mrs. P – Thank you! Oh, thanks for the idea of Nutella in warm oatmeal! I shall try that for my boys as they don’t really like oatmeal too!
My boy took them separately, maybe one day I shall try these two together. Now that you mentioned, I wonder how that taste like!
Maybe there is something to this speedy bento thing? I think yours turned out great! Love nutella, I have an unopened jor of in my cupboard and I can hear it softly calling to me…
Sonoma Bento – Thank you so much for your kind comment! Oh, I cannot reject Nutella too!
Although I haven’t tried making bento, your creations look very inspiring! Love it!
