Finally after a week’s twice daily visits to the clinic, the pediatrician is satisfied with my younger boy’s condition and released him from the daily treatment. What a relief for both JQ and me!
Today I decided to make my elder boy some kyaraben bento to compensate him for the super speedy one yesterday.
His weekend English class will be having the pirates theme this week, so I made him a pirate bento, which would be a perfect round up for bento thus week.
The last item in JY’s bento menu list for is butter sandwich. I used the bread crust portion to make the pirate. I gave the pirate a black and white polka dot bandana made of seaweed and bread besides the facial details from seaweed.
I included some cherries, boiled carrots and three skewers of endamame. I cut an anchor free hand from the seaweed and stick it to one of the carrot slices. I hope it looks like one.
Hoy hoy Captain! Here comes the Pirate! Wish everyone a great weekend ahead!
