Super Mario – Goomba Bento

I was so relief yesterday when there was no more fever for JY after the first medication, and he is off to school again this morning!

Three more days to the Kiddie Sports Day for my elder boy, so I am making another 3 super light snack bento for JY before I go back to the normal bento. Now everyone is waiting eagerly for the big day.

Today I gave JY a mini raisin bun which I turned into Goomba, one of the characters from Super Mario. This was a super speedy makeover since I only used some cheese and seaweed for the facial details. I hope it looks like Goomba.

Since I did not put a lot of food into the bento box, I found this little cherry food cup very useful to fill the gap. In it I included a cherry and some bake cheese biscuits, which would stay fresh until late afternoon.

Looking at the photo now, I should have shaped the bun a little triangle to make Goomba’s face! Oh well, my boy just needs a little imagination to see that it is Goomba.
