DonaShi Bento & CSN Store Giveaway

Happy Monday to everyone (you are right, I should have posted this yesterday but I missed it)!

To start off the week, I would like to announce another exciting giveaway going on together with the 1st Anniversary Giveaway! This giveaway is sponsored by CSN Store. I was contacted by a sale representative of the online store to host a giveaway, but one thing to take note – this giveaway is only for US and Canadian readers (How I wish it could be opened to all!). CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from a platform bed to fantastic fitness equipment to cookware! It is basically a one stop shop carrying over 1 million products and shopping online could not be more easy!

The prize for this giveaway is a $35 gift certificate from CSNStores.com and the winner will be picked randomly.

All right, back to the topic. I was not feeling well since last night and had a very bad migraine this morning that I didn’t even manage to get myself up on time to prepare a nice bento for JY. Luckily last night we bought some cute donuts from Big Apple Donuts & Coffee and I just put two of these cute donaShi (that was how they named these adorable donuts decorated just like sushi) into the bento box. I added two dried prunes with the lovely animal food picks and took a photo of it. I managed to get all these done within 5 minutes right before JY’s school van arrived.

After sending JY off and dropping JQ to the babysitter’s place, I went to the clinic, took the medicine prescribed by the doctor and went back to sleep again. Thanks to the painkiller and a long uninterrupted sleep, I feel much better now. Just hope that the migraine won’t catch up on me again!

By the way, my kind neighbour (who made the cute bento bag for the 1st Anniversary Giveaway) gave us this plate of donaShi on Saturday.
