Last night my boy told me that he had spaghetti in school a while ago and he wanted spaghetti for his snack bento too the following day.
I showed him both the spaghetti and the Scooby Doo shaped pasta and needless to say, he landed on the pasta. Again he told me he wanted lots of sausages to go with the pasta.
I realized that every time he asked for spaghetti or pasta, he’ll ask for sausages too! I wonder why, or it is just a coincident.
Anyway, as requested, I made him a pasta snack bento today. Instead of tomato sauce, I sprinkled some furikake on the pasta. This would be so much less messy when he eats them in school. Usually if he have spaghetti/pasta with tomato sauce, very likely he would come home with tomato stain on his school uniform.
Besides the pasta and sausages, I put a boiled carrot decorated as an orange with facial detail and leaves food pick, and some real oranges too in the bento. Looking at the photo now, I should have made a Jack O’Lantern from the carrot instead and it can become another Halloween theme bento! Oh well, I have to make this some other time then.

Where do you get those cute Scooby Doo pasta?
bobo – Yeah, somehow it just slipped my mine that I can make a Halloween theme bento today! I shall make one later with the carrot for Jack O’Lantern!
I bought those Scooby Doo shape pasta from Cold Storage. That is the only shape pasta there.
The Jack O’Lantern looks friendly oo..hehe..but i do LOVE pasta too~~ it’s been some time already from now..i haven’t take in any pasta..i think it’s about time..haha..come MV again some other time..let me bring you to eat some thing different from what SUSHI KING have..:P

Pasta with furikake! I would never thought of this combi. Will try this next week. My kids eat pasta but not the tomato sauce.
