This was the 4th Christmas theme bento I made for my elder boy – another snowman.
If you still remembered, I made my boy a quail egg snowman some time ago and he loved it so much. So I decide to make him another snowman, but this round with artificial crab stick and seaweed instead of quail eggs.
There was a chocolate sponge cake in the bento which I thought it made a very good background for the snowman and snow flakes with the colour contrast.
I cut the hat, scarf and the mittens of the snowman from the red portion of the artificial crab stick, while the rest were cut from the white portion. The snows were also from the artificial crab stick.
Besides the cake and the snowman, I included two skewers of boiled endamame, and two skewers of oborotsuki too in the bento.
After having all these Christmas theme bento, now my elder boy started asking me to bring him to visit countries that snow!
