This week is really a hectic one for us. I can hardly make bento for the boys, not to say update blogs.
First JQ is down with flu & fever just right after he attended 3 days nursery. We had two sleepless night where cleaning up was the only thing we did the whole night when he thrown up every time he cough. Luckily he is getting slightly better now after few rounds of medications.
Second there were some schedule changes for JY on some of his activities, which we are still trying to adjust to it.
Third, I am down with quite a bad flu as well after few restless days! I must have caught the bug from JQ.
Anyway, I think I shall just share one of the previous bento I made for JY since I didn’t make any yet this week.
In this bento, I made a loving couple from inari. Besides the usual cheese and seaweed for the facial detail, I use the cute hat picks to decorate the inari. From the hats, you can easily guess the gender. To match the theme, I used a heart shape silicon cup to hold the grapes with heart shape food picks, and filled up the rest of the space in the bento box with some dried prunes.
I hope I can at least make a bento this week for JY as he has been asking for one since Monday.

stefanie – I bought them from many source, places like Daiso, 100 yen shops, online shops too. And some I ask friends to help me to get them from Japan and also Taiwan. It is an addiction

I bought my bento gadgets everywhere, online shops, Daiso, 100 yen shop etc. Actually the 100 yen shop in Farlim Penang carries quite a big range of bento gadgets I heard. And Daiso is opening at QBM too. There are few online shops selling dedicated bento tools, listed few here:

Sometimes I did asked favour from friends staying in Taiwan to get me some gadgets too as they are so much cheaper there.
