I can’t believe that today is already a Friday and it is going to be another week passing by just in a blink of eyes!
Time really flies, and I don’t even have the chance to post anything in this blog until now. There are so many back log posts that I am suppose to catch up with and I just wish that I have 48 hours a day!
Today as usual I made JY another super speedy snack sandwich bento.
I used the transparent round bento box which comes with three separate inner containers. Instead of using all the three separators, I used only one for the pitted prunes and some dried cherry tomatoes.
I filled up the bento box with butter and Nutella sandwiches cut using one of the separators so that they can fit just nice into the bento box.
We had a trip to the National Zoological Park not long ago and JY has been so obsessed with lions nowadays. So I thought I can just use this super cute lion cupcake decorator to decorate his bento today. Needless to say, he was very happy with it when he saw this cute lion in his bento this morning before he boarded the school van.
I added some paw prints cut out from seaweed on top of the sandwiches so that the bento doesn’t look too plain.
Do you spot some ‘mud’ under the foot prints? I accidentally shifted the seaweed after applying some Nutella to stick them onto the bread! Oh well, it was a lion walking on a muddy ground then.
