Last week I managed to make JY few kayraben bentos, but I just don’t have the chance at all to post them up in my blog.
How I missed the time when I can update my blog on daily basis and also visiting all the blogs from my dear blogger friends.
Apart from my still very busy schedule, I will try to catch up with blogging whenever I have the chance.
Anyway, I really wanted to thank all of you for still dropping by and leaving me your comments and messages when I was away.
Here is one of the bentos I made for JY last week, a meat floss onigiri teddy bear.
The eyes, nose and mouth were cut from seaweed and as usual I used strawberry jam for the rosy cheek as my elder boy doesn’t really fancy ketchup.
To avoid the teddy bear being too plain, I gave it a little blue flower at the ears with the lovely flower pick.
In the other section of the bento box, I included a strawberry, some cherry tomatoes and some pitted prunes.
Together with the bento I packed some furikake sprinkle too as requested by JY. It was packed separately and kept inside the bento box bag because there was no more space left in the bento box for me to squeeze in the furikake bottle.
By the way, I was at Daiso The Curves the other day checking out their bento section (though I already have almost everything the shop carries there) and I suddenly spotted something that kind of surprises me.
I didn’t have my camera with me so I just snap the photo with my mobile phone and hence the photo quality is not as good. They’ve set up a small board at the bento section.
Is your bento among those captured in the notice board there? I spotted 3 of mine, one from Shoppingmum and one from Ellena. I am not sure who the owners for the other two bentos are as there are no watermarks on the photo.
A closer look of the banner for you to check it out, are they yours?

Very happy to see your cute lil onigiri.
EErr… won’t they get sued for using people’s work without permission? =_=”
yeapies – Thank you! I really miss visiting you ladies’s blog, help! I have no idea, but well, maybe that’s the reason they remain the watermarks there?
haha..what a pleasant suprise.. saw your Mr Happy! and onigiri rabbits.
now you are a bento celebrity! yeay!
bobo – No celebrity, way far from that
But it is really surprise to see the small banner though. Hope can spread the love of bento making around maybe.
ei.. i notice you bought the transparent cover Pooh bento box too..hehe..
bobo – Oh yes, that is among the first few character bento boxes I bought when I started making bento! Love it!
cute cute!~
prince n princess mum – Thanks!
Wahh……….. They use the photos without permission and with the watermark also still there?!~
prince n princess mum – Guess that is the reason they remain the watermarks there?
It’s nice seeing you when you can post. I know the feeling of wishing you had the time to post like you used to. Cute onigri bear, mine never come out so cute.
It must be strange to spot 3 of your photos used without permission.
Lyndsey – Thank you for still dropping by and thanks for the sweet comment! Oh yes, it is a surprise to see the photo there when I was browsing the bento gadgets
Whoa! I don’t know whether you have to be happy or sad. Must be pretty exciting to see your bento pictures displayed at the store but if the store used it without permission that is sad in my opinion.
Lia Chen – Yeah, quite a surprise to me to see that. Anyway, at least they remain the watermarks there.
oh my!! teddy bear onigiri is sooooo super cute!!!
Lina – Thank you!
cute teddy onigiri withe those colorful deco and fruits.
Yah…agreed with Lia, happy to see your bento pictures but sad to know if used it without permission.
Emily Ng – Thanks! Yeah, mix feelings yeah
Lovely white teddy bento ^^ so cute
and great idea to used the jam for rose cheeked.
OMG!!! Mean that they used those bento photo without the permission from the bento maker?????
Is too bad to know that daiso doing illegal thing
hippo mum – Thank you for dropping by apart from you busy schedule!
My boy doesn’t like ketchup so have to use strawberry jam for substitution.
I’m not sure if they asked permission from others, but I didn’t see any email or what in my mailbox. Anyway, just to feel better, at least they still remain the watermarks there.
With or without watermark, without consent of the author
This is not right!
They are using those photos to promote thier sales without paying a cents.
You’re one of the author,
and have the right to ask them take down the board.
Here was a article for your knowledge,
