This week was really an exhausting week for me, juggling between busy work schedule and a sick boy. JY was down with high fever for 4 days due to throat infection. Rushing between office and clinic through the bad traffic in town was no fun at all.
I was so relieved when the fever finally subsided and JY is back to his old self again. Best part is he recovered right before the weekend started, so finally I can have a good rest throughout the weekend! Imagine I had to carry him from the car to the clinic during the first 2 days when he was really sick because he doesn’t even feel like walking.
That was the reason I didn’t make any bento post for the whole week, as I don’t even had the chance to make him any bento!
Anyway, I shall take this chance then to share about the 勇气娃娃 (courageous doll I named them) that I made for the event organized by Daisy for the orphans in Japan due to Tsunami. Thanks to Alicia from Cr@ftiLiciOus for her guidance and Daisy for organizing this meaningful event, that I had a chance to sew these 勇气娃娃.
The 勇气娃娃 in the making.
The pink one is from my teacher Alicia, and the beige one is my work.
Another two 勇气娃娃 side-by-side.
This was the second round of the event organized by Daisy and she has sent over to Japan a total of 455 dolls, coming to her from all over Malaysia.
I hope the 勇气娃娃 will give strength to the children receiving them, may them be brave and be strong always.
